Ukraine wanted to join nato and if they succeeded, they could easily invade russia if they wanted with support from multiple strong countries. So Russia decided to invade before they got the power and allies to have the power to invade russia. basically they are fighting them before they got too powerful

Obviously america has disliked Russia for a long time so not only did they spread anti russian propoganda, but they have a huge money laundering scheme of "supporting" ukraine
