Happy Wednesday! An interesting find from the Facebook group “Northridge- The 1970s” Northridge is a San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles… where Pattye and her family lived….
I joined this FB group a few weeks ago…
Pattye went to Grover Cleveland High School, graduating with the class of 1969… Tony Serritella, a 1968 graduate, kindly posted this photo in the group page- is a page from the 1968 yearbook- (Pattye was a junior then) about (Federico Garcia) Lorca’s play Blood Wedding- the venue- the One Act festival at Valley College (April 4th, 1968)- Pattye won best actress award. 🥇awesome 👍
Cast- regarding the 3 pictures - I think she’s the one on the right corner on the top picture- her character is the “bride” and she’s on the right on bottom left picture- the bride and the “bridegroom” was played by Eric Taylor… (on the left)
Finally, the 2nd dedication is by her, to Tony (Serritella) fellow student actor and the one who posted this picture- he played woodcutter #3.
Pattye’s dedication- “Tony, thanks for all your support throughout the plays. Remember our lantern scene. Ish.. Good luck in college and please come back to visit our plays. Luv, Pattye Mattick” (a couple of words are hard to make out..) #pattyemattick #patriciamattick #facebook #Northridge #California #groverclevelanhighschool #GoneButWillNeverBeForgotten #Reseda #adorable
