When I was a child, I watched pokemon and there was this move called "nightshade" some pokemon would use and I thought it would make a cool name, but back them a lot of people had the name "Nightshade" as their username, (it was pretty common for some reason, not just from pokemon). I thought, "what also goes with nighttime, and wouldn't resemble that pokemon move so it doesn't sound weird? Darkshade....Moonshade...Moonshade sounds pretty nice! After all, the brightness of a moon can sometimes make shade!" I remember saying exactly that in my mind. After that, I used that name for most of my life since it always brought back memories to when I played with my first ever online friends. After a year of playing with them, I never saw them again. I was really close to them as well. After that I got a new game, but the same thing happened again. Time moved on, heck, years...and I still have my name to this day. But that wasn't my original name. The first ever name I had was Fireblaze, referring to a name in a book I used to read, which the main character's name was "Firestar." But yeah, that's about it!
