I am not that good in FNAF lore

Well let's do a test! When does FNAF 3 take place?

OH! i know!! 2023

i am now going to spend the next hour and a half typing out the entire fnaf and afton family lore (this is not exactly cannon, its just what i believe)

so

clara married william afton and had michael afton. william never really wanted michael but didn't exactly neglect him entirely, soon though they had the crying child, (now there's a lot of debate will cc's name but i for one call him chris, though i do not mind if you call him anything else) once chris became old enough to sleep in his own room, william made michael move out of his room and give it to chris, but the thing is, michael was friends with the nightmares, and, to get revenge, made them attack chris every night. michael also started to bully chris and william was not happy about that.

then, one day, william had an idea to make a restaurant, so he called up his friend henry, him and henry worked on Fredbear's family diner, and together came up with the springlock suits and the two animatronics, fredbear and spring bonnie (because william is trash at naming things). while this was happening clara had elizabeth, liz was constantly seeking her father's attention, but sadly was put down each time, liz hung out with chris and charlotte (henry's daughter) a lot, in the pizzeria. then william had a bright idea, circus baby's pizza world. he worked on it for years, saying that c.b was a gift for liz, that was a lie, (but that's for later) one day, one of the interns had an accident in the spring bonnie suit, the first spring lock failure. the intern sadly didn't survive.

soon though, c.b was complete, liz was desperate to see her, but william wouldn't let her. liz was confused, why wouldn't my father let her see something made for her? this is because of a certain string of code. if one child was alone with c.b, they won't be there long. one day, when william was distracted, Liz went up to c.b, alone, chris came around the corner just in time to see elizabeth get taken by c.b's claw into her stomach hatch, this scared chris for life, he became terrified of every animatronic, that's when the nightmares started. missing posters for liz went up everywhere and chris was too scared to say what happened. chris started to lose sleep. michael then gave the pitch to william about a new pizzeria, with a fox, a chicken, a brown bear, and a rabbit. william liked this idea and shared it with henry, they both agreed it was a good idea and got to work. one day, michael found a bag of the designs for the animatronic faces as masks, he took the bag and put on the foxy one, finding that chris was terrified of it, he started torturing him with it. after giving the rest to his friends, they all started to bully chris

chris' birthday was coming up soon and william thought it would be nice to take him to fredbears, so he could work while they played, but michael had this bright idea to stick chris' head into Fredbear's mouth. the prank didn't go as planned and chris had an accident. because of chris' tears, the spring locks in the jaw malfunctioned, crushing chris's skull. william heard the cufufle and came out of his office to see what happened. rushing chris to the hospital, william blamed everything on michael. chris went into a coma, an mike felt horrible. he went to the hospital every day to apologize and check on chris. meanwhile henry was trying to empathise with will, but will knew he could never understand the pain he's going through.... unless.....

henry made the puppet to keep charlotte safe, but charlotte was locked outside in the pouring rain. william came around the corner, to let her in? no. to kill her... the puppet went out to check on charlotte, but the rain made it slowly break down, the puppet found charlotte's body and broke down next to it, charlotte's soul fused with the puppet and possessed it. a few minutes later, henry went to check on charlotte, following where the puppet when, he saw charlotte's body. when chris was in the coma, he sees, what we call fnaf 4. and while chris was in the coma, michael worked at circus baby's pizza world to hopefully help pay chris' medical bills aka fnaf sister location, william finally knew what happened to liz and told michael to go get her while he was working there. while michael was working, william started to kill the kids, gabriel (freddy) jeremy (bonnie) friz (foxy) and susie (chica) now, william didn't stuff them into suits, it was actually the puppet. the puppet thought the children were sad, so she gave them gifts, then she gave them life, by trapping their souls in the animatronic suits, not knowing they would be trapped forever. 5 days after the bite of 83, chris flatlined. michael got scooped. but survived (because he's an afton)

freddy fazbear's pizza opened with all new animatronics, clara learned that it was william killing those kids and wanted to divorce, william still loved her and begged her to stay, he felt bad. Clara went for a drive to clear her head. On the drive, a huge truck came around the corner and she collided. taken to the hospital, william learned about remnant and collected it by killing a few kids, then he used it to trap clara's soul in balora, her favorite animatronic. he didn't think it worked, but it really did. michael moved out in his new purple corpse form, and moved into an apartment. he worked as a nightguard at freddy's, ashamed of his father, he changed his name to michael schmidt. the missing children didn't like adults and tried to attack michael. at this time, chris had the decommissioned possessed golden freddy as he was the last animatronic chris had been with.

after michael got his end of the week paycheck, william killed a couple more kids, like cassidy who goes to possess golden freddy, kicking chris out, making chris become shadow freddy (btw spring bonnie is possessed by the dead intern at the moment) the place closes down, william has to decommission the suits, the souls get out and attack william, william jumps into spring bonnie hoping to escape, drop of water ends his whole career, spring lock failure #2, will possesses the suit now, dead intern becomes shadow bonnie (aka RWQFSFASXC). someone decides to make a new freddy fazbear's pizza with henry. they make the toy animatronics and bb and jj and all of them. 1987 was the year of the second bite. a kid was messing with toy foxy (aka mangle) the take apart and put back together toy and got their frontal lobe bit off, and lived??!?!?. michael works as a night guard again, got paid, place got shut down, yadda yadda

someone makes fazbear frights, michael gets word that his father is there, he goes to work there to see for himself, and sure enough, william is there. michael and henry have come together as friends to get revenge on william. they unanimously decide for michael to finish up the week and get his paycheck before they burn it down, hopefully ending the reign of william afton.

he lived. now henry opens freddy's pizza world, michael works there again, they collect william (aka burntrap, aka peanut, aka jimmy neutron), liz (aka scrap baby), charlotte (aka lefty), and molten freddy? why molten freddy? is he chris or something? idk.. but at the end of the week, henry does this big speech and burns it down, hoping to set the souls free and send william to his own personal hell (aka UCN) then vannessa or vanny was a game tester, she tests fnaf vr, glitchtrap controls her, glitch escapes, sets william free from hell, and NO! william and glitchtrap are NOT the same person, glitchtrap (imo) is williams brother, who became vengeful a evil after death and pressured william into killing until william got a taste for it and became a killer. fnaf sb bla bla bla, fnaf sb ruin, yadda yadda. and that's basically it. chris and liz are still pretty mad at mike, but they're free now. william is still stuck on earth. and the missing children are all free. yadda yadda.

Well the thing I would like to know more is the animatronics I know a lot about the Afton family

to each their own, I just prefer playing the game for the game (I like the lore, but It's a bit too complicated for me)
