What's Rain World?

Sit down kid, I'm going to tell you a great story...

Whar?

Rain World is a video game, but it's more than that, it's a work of art.

To put it briefly, Rain World is a 2D physics based survival platformer set in a long abandoned world, you play as a Slugcat, a moderately intelligent but physically weak creature, find food to hibernate and avoid predators, but be quick, because every 2.5 to 13 minutes, the Rain comes, bone crushing torrential Rain.
And that's not even the worst of it
Because you're stuck in a cycle, a repeating pattern. You want a way out.

Ohhhh I remember that game! But I didn't exactly remember what it was called though lol I watched Markiplier play it a long time ago. And if it's a great game, then why not play it?

For the last f**king time it's not about Slugs
It's about a fictional universe where a civilization seeks out immaterial transhumanism, actually manages to succeed for the most part, and you take the perspective of an animal wandering through the aftermath, and the scraps left behind.

It's not an post apocalyptic game
It's a post utopian game
Although the world on the surface is hostile, to say the least

Utopian is just apocalypse with extra steps

It doesn't have the worldbuilding, ost or gameplay of Rain World
So by my standards, no

Bad company is definitely better

A game that leans on violence as it's main plot is NOT better than Rain World

It is because call of duty and bad company are both more successful proving they are better

Just because it's more popular doesn't mean it's better

Rain World still has a massive playerbase, and is admittedly a rather selective taste

Bad company is simple anyone can understand it which makes it better

A perfect society, sure it wasn't perfectly perfect
But it was close enough
But that was a long time ago
Now they left, and you're just some sort of rodent, in a land where even Rain can kill, somewhere towards the bottom of the food chain
A very f**ked up food chain in which Centipedes and Grass are above you in, to name a few of the other creatures, struggling for their own survival
