Explanation: In Starbound, you have to go to moons to mine special stuff to power your spaceship. There's these ghosts that are attracted to the stuff your mining, so the more you have, the faster they approach you. It basically turns into a horror game because you have to get as much fuel as you need without getting jump scared.
