the twisted sword doesn't kill ennemies, the twisted sword in Mysticslime's video is modded to get the kill animation. It's fake.
The only way to kill ennemies with the red fading animation is to Snowgrave them (except for Berdly.)
which isn't possible in normal gameplay.
