The system is way too oppressive in my opinion because, come on, everyone gets carried away with jokes. If you repeatedly bully and insult users for being part of a certain group, obviously you'll be denied a position, but if you just feel like you got some dark humor to vent out and only do it once or occasionally, that shouldn't force you to starve on the streets. Dark humor can be a coping mechanism to help fight boredom and sadness, but, like a medicine, it's dangerous in overdose.
