In my advanced math class, (it's online) we had to do a math research project every year. The other school that we shared the time slot with didn't exactly have the smartest math students, (also they were just plain lazy,) so almost none of them were finished with it by April. (We had 2 months to work on an 8 page slideshow, which you don't have to put much text in, and one page is a bibliography anyway.) So they had to come up with the worst excuses to get out of doing it right then and there. One kid something was wrong with her voice, which was preposterous because other people could hear her at her school. We had our own two students like this, who just watched Mandjtv the whole time. Their solution was to work together on the project, something they weren't allowed to do. They still got away with it.
