Well, Skywings can’t make guns because they don’t have the technical ability to, even if they knew how. Also, then guns would have to be super big to be able to be held. So they would be super heavy and slow to reload.

Ok, so the bigger of the gun, the bigger the ammo has to be. Which means it takes longer to reload, longer to move, and longer to fire. The only gun-like thing Morrowseer could probably hold normally is the barrel of a cannon on a navel warship, and that’s just the barrel

but then again, showing them how to use weapons could lead to them learning how to MAKE said weapons. therefore, different dragon size = different gun size

Making customized guns for each dragon because on how big they are will slow down mass production of it, and it’ll cost more and take longer

but you have to consider that theres only a few dragons in the books who really need that. most bigger dragons can have bigger weapons whilst smaller ones can have smaller guns like side arms.
