Keep in mind:
- Take this pose slowly and facing a wall so that if you lose balance you have something to stabilise yourself
- It helps to keep the arms fluid and relaxed, not locked. You should feel your bicep on each ear once fully extended
- Once you are on one leg keep your gaze on your hands in front of you. This will help to keep the neck long and shoulders relaxed
- Focus on a slow controlled landing at the end
- This exercise helps to strengthen the leg muscles and bring lightness to your body
