Same reason anyone has bullies anyone, because now that they are stepping out of the gates and finally having more exposure to the surface, people naturally don’t know how to adjust so they try to suppress, or some people aren’t brave enough to go to the surface with the other LGBTQ+ so they try to keep it secret and hurt others like them to avoid suspicion
