Please tell us how to enforce the 13+ rule on a site made for anonymous users. We're all ears.

At the very least ban the people who flat out admit that they’re underage even when they’re told about the rules.

There are plenty of times where I have seen someone admit to being 10 or 11, and then I show them the 13+ rule, and they still claim to be the same age and say they don’t care about the rule.

I'm not saying that at all. I would love ideas because unless we make the entire site pro users only, requiring a credit card or ID is really the only way to truly verify age and even people can game the system that way. Not everyone online will be honest about their age. It's not just an imgflip problem it's a worldwide web problem.

True, I suppose all we can do is wait for a solution.

Hey wait! I got a recommendation.
Why not include a *insert your DOB(Date Of Birth)* when creating a new account?
It could prevent.

Dude
That never works
Kids know how to lie

Hey, Mr Know-It-All
I said prevent, not stop completely.
A small amount of progress can help, we experiment for reasons.

You underestimate kids buddy. They know what happens if you put your age into a site. Ten year olds can be pretty smart.
Anyway do you really think the kids who type in their age are the annoying ones in the first place?

I underestimate kids because most of them probably don't even know what 2+2 is.

But tbh the mods need to man up and actually yknow, give perma ban or delete accounts.

I just asked the ten year old next to me what 2 + 2 is, four.
The majority of underage users are 9-12, not pre-schoolers.

There are 10 year olds who you wouldn’t never suspect are underaged and 14 year olds who act completely underaged and are whiny little brats.

The solution is banning people who do things they aren’t supposed to do. If someone is harassing other users, ban them.

Tbh I'm not saying this out of spite or hate, but you're genuinely annoying for taking my "I bet most of them don't know what 2+2 is" seriously.

Like no shit, its called a hyperbole.

And yea we know there are fakers out there which is why some of us people on the internet is cautious.

When you are told you are underestimating something, responding with a hyperbole about how stupid the something is, is not the most common response

Also I really hope that you aren’t being cautious because a 10 year old can be mature enough to act like a 14 year old, and not because a 50 year old can act like a 14 year old

One of those is slightly more concerning

Oh please, I can say kids are stupid and really never have to back my shit up.
Well I have to of course let me rephrase that.
Just look at tiktok, then see how many idiots are there doing some dumb shit.
0 ups, 2y
Are all tiktok users under 13? Are all 10 year olds tiktok users? Are all people on tiktok the same?
Nope

It can be anything.
We don't know for shit.

Plus naw, maybe understand that its an overexaggeration?
Smh its a good r/facepalm moment but still.

Me: You are underestimating kids
You: Kids are so stupid

A hyperbole is not the best respond to being told you are under or over exaggerating something

Again I really hope you’re smart enough to realize a mature the year old isn’t really something to “be cautious about”

But are all people on there stupid?
Yes.
