The Bible was purposefully mistranslated in the 1940’s to make it appear homophobic. its original meaning was something about sleeping with a woman compared to a child. It was about pedophilia, not homosexuality.

my church's beliefs on the other hand (I'm pentecostal) are not like mine

just interpretations of the Bible, normally people will shove the beliefs that they wanna hear down others' throats

I was trying to stay as neutral as I could, but still tried to explain that a lot of it is up to individual interpretation, but they wouldn't listen

I am Christian, but also very gay
I've encountered a lot of people recently trying to explain that through the Bible, a homosexual or LGBTQ person is in danger of harm from demonic spirits or something

Oh my god-
God creates everyone how he sees fit, right? And that means he supports and wants to have people on Earth that arent all cis or all straight.

one argument against the existance of god is "If he created everything, why did he create bad things?" if theres an explanation for this, please let me know
