I posted this comment because eventually, the transparency will be gone due to Imgflip replacing the GIF with MP4 video, which doesn't have transparency, and i'm not sure if the watermark will remain in pieces.

UPDATE: It remained in pieces.

I think it's because the watermark usually changes to be a contrasting color from the image, so transparency confuses it a little
