The fence was barbed so the Spinosaurus was filled with prickly metallic wires and tbh, smashing into another thing doesn't sound like a good idea.

Jeremy James Prutchik did a video about this. The Spino was exhausted after breaking through the fence, and the door was bolted shut, so it was too tired and gave up
