Either way it would have taken much trial and error to find Mystery Man on your own. 1000 resets each time at the beginning of waterfall, and that's not accounting for the fact that FUN levels can repeat themselves. For an idea on how long that would take, I average out on normal quick playthroughs at 2 hours by the time I reach Papyrus. 2000 hours is your result.
Divide that by 24 for total day count and it adds up to 183 days on end, for a rough estimate.
I do have more time on YouTube but I'm not constantly interacting with the thing to keep things running.
You'd be playing the exact same scenario for half a year.
That's kinda ridiculous.
At least you can technically access the code with certain devices and alter the FUN level to 66, but even then it's a 1 in 10 chance.
