Still has great tv ratings though, a movie is also coming out and it’s a 50/50 that they will animate Interhigh arc although they didn’t release the plot yet. But yeah you’re right, wish they remake it.

I've only just started reading Slam Dunk. Started off with the Prince of Tennis, but not sure I finished that one. I mainly get manga through my local library, so there's a high likelihood they didn't have all the volumes.

Slam dunk doesn’t have that much filler. Look on animefillerlist.com . It has like 10 fillers and they’re all at the end
