DEFCON stands for Defensive readiness Condition
in the US, it's the state of the military
DEFCON 5 - Peacetime
DEFCON 4 - Minor Conflict, Increased Military
DEFCON 3 - Major Conflict, Airforce Ready in 15 minutes from being declared
DEFCON 2 - Preperation for Nuclear war, troops and all armored vehicles are ready within 6 hours
DEFCON 1 - Full nuclear war
