For me it's a mix. Cat is cute but words are funny for a cute yet fat cat. So that's where the mix comes in. I have 3 and 2 are hulk cats but not really fat aside from some extra they could lose. We never pick cats based on breed but just happen to end up with this bunch. The one we had before we got the Angora was a Turkish Van we got at Petsmart in '99 and was 6 yrs old then and had been abused and he made it to 19yrs old. We didn't know he was a van until I saw a pic of a van after he died of cancer. They didn't charge based on breed and then a woman with a small cattery with a few other women came to Petsmart on weekends to adopt out cats & she wasn't a tyrant like most and made it a bit easier to adopt a cat & she charged very little and not based on breed she got. Discovered Max was Angora right away based on physical and behavioral traits. Well our one has giant skeleton and head but not a huge breed but a mix of oriental breeds that results in a Snowshoe like grumpy cat except he's blue pointed and she was dwarf and he's beyond husky & likely a true giant & a troublemaker. Other is a Bombay and he's as hard as a rock with muscle and quite a good size which isn't unusual for this breed since they're a cross between a standard black cat and a Burmese. So very short hair close to skin & blackest of black cats that shines like patent leather in sun & he has copper eyes as well so he looks like the standard Halloween spooky cat but is quiet and very obsessed with me. Got them in 2016 from same lady after our 16 yr old basic short hair cat went into renal failure which was very hard to watch. Third is the lightweight 9 to 10 lb Turkish Angora who are well known for being very charming, human loving tyrants and intelligent & he trained the Snowshoe his art of tyranny to get his way and he has taken his advice & not only performs Max's, the Angora's, antics but has his own antics as well plus some weird funny habits. We just call him Big Boy and Bombay's name is Cole. They were rescues as well. Sorry so long haha
