Cats are liquid

My female cat does this, but squeezes between a leather recliner and the wall it is up against. When she emerges, she uses her claws to pull herself up and out. My recliner is shredded on one side because of this.

They said "thanks hooman we don't know but love". They were stealing all the blankets from me last night while I laid there in major pain from a surgery I just had. Got 0 hours of sleep. I hate pain.
