I do that in the nether since you can't place water. But one time, after 164138 fails, I FINALLY was able to placed a cauldron and switch to the water and place it in the cauldron at the last second and land in it. I WAS SO SHOCKED!

Dude I did, I literately did it myself. You can get into cauldrons. You used to not be able too, but now you can. TRY IT!!
