Gotcha, wow that 's a good memory. I have very few memories that go back to my early childhood. My parents fought all the time (still married though) and I think it made me block out a lot of those memories. I also hum when I get nervous or people are arguing when I'm nearby...it's kind of sad, but it doesn't bother me much. It really bothers my mom that I have these tendencies that she feels responsible for.

Wow, I am sorry to hear this, it breaks my heart. My parents also fought but never violent, never raised a voice, never even swore. I guess that's not really a fight, they argued or debated? Up to interpretation, I suppose. Hey, you turned out OK though! I think everyone gets uncomfortable around people arguing. It surprises me how many people will do that in public, even on a cell phone. I like to people watch and it's interesting to see how those within hearing distance deal with situations like that. Oh, don't worry about it, but that's a nice sentiment. My parents were never violent with one another. My dad never hit us kids. My mom spanked us pretty hardcore, but really just spankings and some antique wooden spoon spankings, lol. They yelled a lot, though. All is well nowadays, though.

People watching is a good time. People are interesting. Dogs and cats are better.

My first time on a bike (when the training wheels were taken off), I rode straight into a curb. Got a good gash in my leg that left a scar which is still visible to this day.
