I'm 13, almost 14. You don't have to feel bad for me, it's now a part of my everyday life! It gets a bit depressing, sometimes. :/

Call me a wimp if you want, but I refuse to stick myself with insulin. I don't know how people do it every day! I'm so queasy when it comes to needles, I won't even sew my clothes if they have holes in them. LOL

Oh, I completely understand! I'm on an insulin pump now, but BOY, do those tiny needles sting! It was so annoying. Now that I am on a pump, I don't have to deal with a burning feeling, but a feeling kind of like when a rubber band snaps.

So you're saying I don't have to deal with needles if my doctor prescribes an insulin pump for me?

Yeah! I have the T-slim, which you change every 3 days. There is also the Omnipod, but I forget how long that lasts.
