I don't do that I just ruin the tik-tok they are making by various ways:
Water balloon
Water hose
Super soaker
Balloon full of slime
'accidentally' throw a frisbee
Nerf war
Call their phone mid tik-tok
Have my dog attack the phone
Throwing cards
Boomerang (on the way back to look inconspicuous)
Walk through the tik-tok unaware ... And many more
