Whether Raj ate any of the food or not, they couldn't still get food out to the customers. He cant even cook salmon. He cant even season scrambled eggs correctly. He cannot cook at all, anything, ever as Vinny put it. So Vinny ended up doing his salmon for him. The big problem was, he stayed too long.
