Just looked in on User sub. went through a couple pages, left a couple up votes, a couple down votes, and one comment. Most I just looked at and decided they weren't worth the effort: just cause I'm not a video gamer doesn't mean someone else isn't. I upvote most anime memes because that's one of my interests, and when I post anime memes, I try to make them so that non-fans can understand.I know it's an interest that's not mainstream, especially among the majority of adults.
Things that will get my down votes. Poor presentation. Text that covers too much of the image is one thing. Using block letters in small areas, making them difficult to read (I'm old, dammit, and my eyes aren't what they once were) Templates like Rock Driving, Boardroom Suggestions, Batman slapping Robin, and recently, The Scroll of truth. (here's my take on the last one: https://i.imgflip.com/2dzodg.jpg )
