Yep,it's a snake! A huuge one! But now that I think about it,that frog looks more like a lurker(he's not a boss creature, and I hope as hell that there are no bosses similar to him),only this one is much bigger! https://youtu.be/GyO98mecU_c
Dude, you MUST play Resident Evil! The game is absolutely fantastic! If the voice acting and the graphics from the original are a problem for you, play the remake! I guarantee the game will make you shit you pants and bring you a load of fun!
It's an 1996 game,so it should be able on pretty much any computer! And yeah, for some rrason, the game only works on Windows 95,so when you install it,make sure that the compatibility mode is set for Win 95! If you want,I can send you the link of the game!
Amd for the voice acting, while it's as cheesy as it gets,it wil probably make you laugh you ass off like it did make me(Rebecca:"It's me,Chris!",5 seconds later,Chris:"Is that you,Rebecca?" xD)
Guess you could send me a link, i'll check out the game when i can :)

https://www.oldpcgaming.net/resident-evil-game-review/ Try this one! If there's any problem during the installation, just tell me!
1 up, 3y,
I forgot one important thing:the "Select video card" part of the installation is a pure "Trial and error" section! If you choose non-acceletared,everything will be awfully pixelated, but the game will run fine! If you choose something else, the graphics will be unflawed, but the game will probably run much faster than it's supposed to! Good thing is that you can always choose another setting! Just go to where you installed the game, double click on "setup" and then choose!
