Hey Swiggy, hope you are well. I know stuff that never features or is pulled from the front page can be frustrating. The good news is that imgflip is listening. There's a bunch of new site upgrades, they've tweaked the submission guidelines. Please come back.

I'm okay. decided I didn't need imgflip as much as having to put up with trolls. Regular trolls are one thing, but when you have mods trolling (https://imgflip.com/i/21q7os?nerp=1514732578#com2020645) that's enough to send me packing.

Moderator trolls are the worst as they took over last year and turned a fun site into a political site. Now, they have it in for those of us that post content that people LIKE!. Without posters, Imgflip will go down the tubes. Too bad, but when the underlings go unchecked, it's setting the stage for the site to go down the tubes. I suspect that's why Raydog had so many of his posts pulled, as well as others. I haven't deleted my account, but I'm still considering it.

Well, I wouldn't burn my season tickets to my local team because of one or more umpire calls I didn't agree with. Also having worked on a help desk, I think the intent on both sides was misconstrued. Just my two cents, I wouldn't call the conversation there trolling. I've been under the impression for a long time that is not a shared mod account and it's the man himself.

I have had one or two creations pulled down off the front page, so I can relate and I can think of about a dozen other users who have fallen into that trap.

I sent feedback in about that, they're listening.

I've had stuff go back to submitted before. I've even had submitted posts that never featured. The most recent one was submitted same day as this one. It seems like I was having a submitted post not feature every day or two.

Not trolling? "We may have to implement something like 100000 point deductions or account deletions if people keep trying to circumvent the rules like this to steal other people's content. Or perhaps the point system and leaderboard are too gamifying and motivate people to recycle the rest of the internet rather than be creative. Perhaps it's time to remove the leaderboard and competition entirely."

I've worked customer service. Because Imgflip never comments on why a post is returned to submission to begin with, it was rather odd that a mod would comment. A veiled threat about removing points for people that zero out the font size when a better message would have been, "We have removed your submission from featured status because it is somebody else's work." then posted a link to the original. No, to go directly to threatening without any preamble? Troll tactics. Maybe I should do like Jeff Timms and just host memes and GIFs here, and share them elsewhere.

[image deleted]I know you're not alone in stuff that didn't feature, and stuff that got pulled down. I gave up a while back being frustrated about my stuff not getting out of the gate or worse. If it happens to me and the meme is important to me, I try again. To the extent I can, I've been trying to help other users avoid those pitfalls. I think your perspectives on imgflip are extremely valuable to the community and I will do what I can to try to convince you to stay.

2 months? what happened

I decided that since Imgflip approves of the mods trolling users, There was no need for me to post original memes here. If I need a quick meme,I'll bat it out here, but post it elsewhere. Usually, though, I just use my own graphics program to make them.

That's really disappointing and sad bud. I really enjoy your work.

It's still around,just not here. A lot of people have left for various reasons: Forceful because of real life, Panty Guy and 123guy were booted, but the trolls have also caused casualties.Some, Like farmerann, do like me,making memes, but only sharing them with close friends. Others just stopped posting,while others have have totally removed their account.I'm doing fine and sorry you'll miss me, but It's apparent that Imgflip the business doesn't give a rat's ass about their posters.
