my ex has short legs, but walks fast, while I have long legs and walk slow. Our eldest inherited her legs from her mother, while #2&3 got their legs from me but their speed from their mom.
back in the 60s, when I was a kid, Mattel came out with a series of dolls called "Liddle Kiddles". Part of that series were several that you put a handle in the back and they would "run" as you pushed them. These were called Skediddle Kiddles. I remembered the commercials, though nobody has uploaded them to YouTube, and when I would see my ex walking with determination, it reminded me of those Skediddle Kiddles. She'd get so pissed when I'd mention it.
