Thanks, don't mind at all. I started on my phone trying out a few free image to ASCII apps, but they were a pain. Did this on a pc. The joker footage came from Giphy, used ezgif to break that into images, converted images to ASCII with a free .exe from sourceforge (I'll get back to you on the name) used FastStone image viewer to make the ASCII image background black and text green, then ezgif to put the frames back together.

thanks i'll have to check those out. i've been using a version of gimp that i haven't updated in forever.
