The Islamic empires and caliphates have proven to be culturally and religiously tolerant. This came from the idea that they could extinguish any religious resistance. Also, more Kurds have been killed in the crusades by Christians than Muslims in say Turkey, Syria, or Iraq. I want you to consider that is also a tenet of Islam to respect other's culture and religion. Please just because Palestine wants Canaan doesn't mean all Muslims will be as evil.
