The A320 also has a more rounded nose than the 737's, which is sharper. The cockpit controls and avionics are a bit different, as Airbus uses a joystick for pilot comfort and Boeing uses the more traditional yoke. The landing gear is a bit different too, as the 737 has no designated doors for the main landing gear to retract into and instead has the tire exposed, whereas the A320 has designated doors for the main landing gear. Also the 737 has had more accidents than the A320 and the 737 airframe is almost 60 years old, compared to the almost 40 years old A320 family airframe.
