Yes they fought before but Death Battle is a neutral show unlike the official crossover that took place on Family Guy. Also I could argue Homer would win.
Honestly I think Ash wins this fight. Sure Frank can handle psychopaths oh I'm sorry maniacs as well as zombies. But Ash takes on the Deadnites who are much worst in comparison. Ash also survived going far back in time too. I do love both these characters with an passion.
