In the end everyone learns that forgiveness is the only choice if you want to move on with your own life. Forgiveness has nothing to do with the people you forgive and everything to do with ... you. You are sooooo important and fantastic! Don't let bad experiences steal your happiness.
It's exactly the same on a cellular level. Millions of Americans prefer torturing living beings. I don't understand it but I've never enjoyed torturing or suffering.
