Sumac: yeah sure, can we just go back before Rose kills us all? Or worse, those two hivewings decide they’re gonna kill some of us as revenge for imprisoning Wasp?
??????: I want to do what now?
*a Hivewing dragonet around Ivy and Sumac’s age poked her head out of the underbrush*
Sumac: HOVERFLY, YOU FOLLOWED ME?!
Hoverfly: yeah? What, you thought I was going to miss out on all the fun?
Sumac: you little—
Hoverfly: what did Rose say about fighting? *smug look on her face*
Sumac: well, does it look like Rose is here?
Maple: oh Clearsight, can you two shut up? No one is planning to kill anyone.
Ivy: permission to paralyze Sumac?
Maple: no. Let’s not get into more trouble than we already are. Did Rose send you?
Sumac: *turning away from the Hivewing to face the rest of you* what do you think?
*the Hivewing shakes her head to tell everyone that no, Sumac didn’t get permission to be in the poison jungle either*
Maple: I think you’re a liar whose tail is on fire. Rose was probably on her way as soon as she noticed you and Hoverfly were missing.
????: AND YOU WOULD BE CORRECT. *an angry looking young adult leafwing appeared standing over Hoverfly, who was now cowering beneath her, you now realize this was the Leafwing and Hivewing you heard before flying after Maple and Ivy*
(This picks up a few hours after where the prologue ends, Pantalan night time, Pyrrhian day time. Are you starting inside or outside the palace?)
*the plume of smoke is very visible, some how there is a fire in the ice kingdom. Some of Queen Snowfall’s guards appear to be examining some of the scrap metal found in the snow*
(WoF stands for Wings of Fire, or Wall of Flesh if you play terraria, but in this case it’s Wings of Fire, a series about dragons from the pov of dragons with the first 5 books being about the main protagonists stopping a way between all of the tribes on the continent. There are 15 main books total, 4 “Winglets” currently, and two legends books. What I am attempting is a blend of sci-fi into this fantasy world and it’s probably not gonna be great since the whole goal of the two main characters you’ll meet in the series is to find each other and get off the planet [one of which already can but is awaiting a rescue since they do not know where they are], but I hope you have fun.)
*you see a plume of smoke in the distance, and a large place made of ice behind you, it looks like the palace inhabited by dragons given that you’ve seen some in the guard towers. Looks like they are confused are about the smoke coming from the south*
