I heard this tidbit earlier. Some of the jurors said the holdout juror ignored the advice and knowledge certain jurors who worked in healthcare said about the type of medicine Clancy took.
Here's the thing. That kind of thing technically isn't allowed when the jury is deciding the verdict. Jurors are only to use the facts and information told in court presented by the prosecutor and defense, not other juror's or own's own life experience or knowledge.
Once said, "The Gestapo didn't recruit itself." What did/do I mean by that. Emptying prisons, defunding the police(and attempts ending ICE), vilifying law enforcement, and now supporting radical islam.
When normal law enforcement is ended it creates a void that has to be filled and what fills that void has historically been type of people who should be in jail or radical fanatics like what is found in islam.
Of course it hasn't been tried. If true socialism, which is attributed to Henri de Saint Simon, were to be tried then modern socialists would exposed as liars, idiots, and plagiarists. Modern socialists dare not attempt it because it would show that true socialism is basically what average everyday people want - a job and be able to keep their paycheck, a smart competent limited government that keeps off their back. To be able to use and enjoy the rights, freedoms, and ideas that are in documents like the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
Wait, what? Doesn't socialism go against the Constitution and Bill of Rights? you may be thinking.
Well here's the biggest plot twist in the history of socialism. Where as modern socialists(and marxists) are taught and believe the Founding Fathers and what they did was evil incarnate 'cause slavery or whatever, Henri saw what they were doing and was so impressed he came over to the Colonies and fought along the side of the Colonists for a short while.
So could any socialist, leftist, or communist explain to the rest of the class why they think the Founding Fathers and what is did was wrong while the the practical founder of socialism believed the complete opposite?
