Jesus's death and resurrection put everyone on the same level. Rich, poor, Gentile, Jew, free person, slave, civilized, barbarian.
However it's not about one group being more special than another. It's about being able to be forgiven and redeemed by God via Jesus Christ. It's something that happened from time to time in the Old Testament like Rahab, a Gentile AND a prostitute.
Even those we consider the worst of the worst like Hitler, Stalin, or the Ayatollah had the same shot at forgiveness and redemption but they clearly chose not to accept what Jesus offered.
For her every day is St. Patrick's Day. . .and New Year's Eve. . .and Thanksgiving. . .and every other holiday in which getting shit faced is a common occurrence. . .
