Some good news on solar power on the local level - my town council rejected a solar farm on the basis it would have a massive negative impact on people's property values. Personally I would have preferred if it was that solar is oh so useless during our Winters or how much forest would have to be destroyed to build the panels but I'll take the win as is.
Fallout TV. . .is. . .okay. . .I guess. The problem with Fallout TV is that it didn't explain that Fallout Earth is not a singular Earth but a multiverse that branches off from our Earth The point of divergence is how people reacted to nuclear power after WW2. Our Earth became scared and fearful of what it could do. Fallout Earth embraced the potential benefits to nuclear power.
Fallout Earth created more divergent timelines with each of the games multiple endings and variations of the main quest and major/minor quest lines.
How Fallout TV show drops the ball is that this was never explained. The show instead tends to lean into a particular ending in the game Fallout New Vegas(the most popular game in the series) and perhaps even Fallout 4 with what's going on with the Brotherhood of Steel.
What the TV show should've done right at the start was explain the multiverse part and state that the Fallout TV Earth while following main Fallout Games doesn't take place on any of the Game Earths and that is it's own planet.
That way the TV production could pick and choose what ending(s) to use for the show without having any affect or controversy concerning the games.
