well at first i didn't know it was against the rules... but i was trying to share my meme

Re-posted memes are against the fun stream rules. However, there is debate on what exactly is classified as a repost.

Basically, you can take an idea from another meme and re word it (and preferably use a different template), but you shouldn't make anything that is pretty much just a mirror image of someone else's creation :-)

You can post links from other people's material if you like. There's no problem with that.
Although you are technically not supposed to, you're not going to get banned or anything over sharing a link to your own meme.
