IS "WORD OF FAITH," JUST HINDUISM? [3 of 4] Unfortunately, most followers of the Word of Faith movement don't realize it is basically the practice of Hinduism. It's not just similar; the core beliefs are the same. Word of Faith has taken Hindu teachings, slapped Christianese on them, and used the false teachings to defraud folks in the Christian Church. The Hindu bill of goods that these Word of Faith guys (and gals) are selling, goes something like this: You can get anything you want if you have enough belief, speak the right words, use the force of faith, send them money to get trinkets, and repeat phrases over and over. That's Hinduism! Hindus are taught to use the "God force" with mantras (repetitive chanting) to create their own reality. World of Faith leaders adopted those Hindu practices, only changing the terminology. | image tagged in hindu, god, bible, jesus, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

ARE CHRISTIANS TO BLAME FOR THE CRUSADES AND THE SALEM WITCH TRIALS? [3 of 3] The New Testament has another example of the New Covenant as it is applied to witchcraft. Acts 8 talks about how Simon the Sorcerer was not stoned by Peter, but only rebuked. If we're still supposed to kill witches, as the Old Testament prescribes under the Old Covenant, then why didn't Paul, or Petter, do that? It's because the death penalty was Old Testament civil law. God's moral law with the Ten Commandments is in force for all time with its prescriptions for a certain moral character. But the civil, priestly, and dietary laws are for the Jewish nation; not the Christian Church. So, those people meting out the sentences at the witch trails were wrong to do what they did. They misapplied Old Testament passages to say those punishments are still applicable in this Church Age. And that's a whole other can of worms with many religions today still attempting to enforce that outdated Old Testament covenant, which does not apply to Christians. They try to bring those laws into today with all their legalism and they cite the Bible as their proof text. But, again, they are talking
about the Old Covenant that is not for us Christians today. | image tagged in witch, trials, salem, christian, god, bible | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

[5 of 5] DO YOU WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THE FUTURE? "One the most significant evidences for the divine origin of the Bible is prophecy (2500 prophecies, 2000 already fulfilled). It is statistically impossible for the Bible's detailed prophecies to have been fulfilled by chance (as opposed to man compiling his guesses in a book, adding Christianese, and giving us today's world religion and cult books). The Bible has been thoroughly verified and explicitly warns against adding to or taking away from what God has given. The Bible repeatedly tells us to stick to the Bible and not add another word. Here are a couple examples: "You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take away from it (Deuteronomy 4:2).” "Whatever I command you, you shall be careful to do; you shall not add nor take away from it (Deuteronomy 12:32).” With all due respect, all false faiths outside the Bible, completely go against what God just commanded there. They have constantly added man's teachings and rewritten, chopped, and spliced God’s Word. Here is more from the Bible: "Every word of God has proven to be true. He is a shield...Do not add to His words or He will reprove you, and you will be proved a liar (Proverbs 30:5-6).” If we will only stick to God's Word in the Bible, it will be a shield to protect us from man's harmful lies and false teachers ripping us off. Here's more from Revelation 22:18-19: "I testify to everyone who hears the words this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which were written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of book this prophecy, God will take away his part in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are written in this book.” So God's message is this: "Don't add to or take away from Scripture; leave it alone because I, God, have put my stamp of approval on it 2500 times." Isn't that good enough? Why do we have to keep going somewhere else? Just like the Old Testament stories of the people groups constantly straying and coming back, only to stray again, even today we are looking for some other ideas, theories, or prophets to guide us.
Why can't we just get in the Bible and enjoy it straight from the mind of God!? | image tagged in bible, prophecy, end times, god, jesus, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

[3 of 5] DO YOU WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THE FUTURE? Other signs the Bible gives for us to know we're in the last days, is the push for a one world government, religion, and economy, with its big-brother society, persecution of God's people across the whole planet, figures like the Antichrist and False Prophet rising, the technology developed to control the buying and selling across our entire world, and some Mark of the Beast system to identify people with something put on their right hand and forehead. Again, God is not going to tell us the day or hour because we'd probably goof off until the time comes. However, He is telling us when it's close; not so we can prepare for horrible times but instead, it’s to encourage us that the time is near when we get to see Jesus! If we love Him, aren't we longing to see Him? God knows we are longing to be with Christ so all these prophecies are His way of saying, "Hey, Jesus will be there to rescue you soon!" Why would we run from that? I want to see Him, say thank you, and hopefully give Him a big hug. And I want to have something I've done for Him to lay at his feet. I can't wait to be part of Jesus' Millennial Kingdom! I also want to see and be a part of the New Heavens and Earth. Why wouldn't we want to hear all the great Bible prophecy, which tells us the time is close (again, without letting us the day and hour)? | image tagged in bible, prophecy, end times, god, jesus, christian | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
