Honestly I don't think there is any link. The twerp planned this a year before Jan 6. He and his father worked in a cash bail bond business. Trump had plans to reform that and the father tried to sue Trump over it and lost. This appears to be a personal revenge motive.
Oh he's that guy. Nancy Pelosi's personal hench man. He's also the guy who organized the J6 riot. He got FBI informants to lead a group of protesters to the Capitol build. He gave the order for the police to start shooting rubber bullets and flash grenades into the crowd causing a panic so that the FBI informants in the crowd could direct them into the Capitol building.
