Sunday, May 28, 2023, 5:15 PM; The last worker steps out of the elevator of the North Tower of the ITC. He looks around the damaged lobby of the tower, the computers that have been taken by the receptionists, the tipped over plants, and such. He carefully takes the ITC Tapestry and "The Girl of the Nebula" off the wall. He turns off the electrical circuit, and the entire tower goes dark, like her sister tower. He steps out into the plaza, already damaged and cluttered, the fountain turned off. Closing the glass doors behind him, and locking them, something not done since the January 11 bombing. He looks up one last time at the two towers before exiting the plaza onto the street, ready to face whatever comes next.
