MS_memer_group, as we all know, has apparently met its end today. Sunday, May 28, 2023. Many of us grieve now, many celebrate as well. Did any of us truly predict that Sauce would be serious? And that Del and the others would support this? Perhaps so.
Deep down, we all know this was a good thing. MSMG was becoming addictive, and nothing but a toxic shell of its former glory. My attempts to restore old MSMG were in vain, for those 2 months I had owner, and it seems now we have given up. But that's okay. A dead stream is better than a stream in ruins.
For those of you who remember the glory days, of Summer 2021, and perhaps 2022 as well... let's think back. When MSMG was a truly beautiful place. It was a place of great history... and lore... where truly funny shitposts could be shared, where people could connect... it was a home away from home, in a sense. And even after the events of August 3, 2022, it remained that way.
And ever since that day, and perhaps even months before, the cloud of imminent doom was lingering above us. Some chose to recognize it, and warn us before it was too late. But collectively, we ignored it. We continued in our selfish ways. And this is where it has left us.
MSMG could've been saved. But we chose not to. We chose to let our ignorance consume us, and our beautiful stream. And now.... we have no stream.
The time has come for us to move on. We'll get on with our lives... we'll go off to college, get jobs, pursue what we dream. But MSMG... I think, at least for me, will hold a special place in our hearts forever more. Whether we choose to stay on Imgflip... or finally delete, that's up to all of you, individually.
Farewell, everyone. It's been a great 2 years here... but perhaps... it's time for us all to move on, better ourselves... and be the people God meant us to be.
