It actually took decades, but it still fell way faster than it was built.

The problem is that things are so much easier to destroy than to create. Except for nuclear waste and other toxic, carcinogenic, mutagenic substances. Basically existence fxcks us from both sides: the bad shit is easy to create and difficult to destroy, and the good shit is difficult to create and easy to destroy. It's almost like the cosmos WANTS us to fail. 🤷

How could it be that we have all come together in a universe that was born in an explosion and chaos, In a universe made of dead space and fire, that does nothing but tear itself apart? Against all odds, here we are, As close as we are to taking ourselves out, we are just as close to almost making it. I’m not worried. As a matter of fact, I have great hope. Even if civilization fell apart, I might be one of those people who is better off.

The funny thing about existence is that's its eternal. It has always existed because something cannot come out of nothingness. The laws of thermodynamics prove that. So existence is infinite. This is a bit of a leap, but on an infinite scale, anything that is possible will happen an infinite number of times. So even the remotest of possibilities is bound to happen at least every now and again.
