There is a dark corner in my brain that can’t shake this bad feeling that republicans and democrats are all in on it together and it’s only a matter of time until the constitution falls and the bill of rights gets canceled. The murders of prominent journalists, putting heads of state above the law. It doesn’t give me hope. And I’m an American optimist.

I don't believe the Dems are complicit with MAGA, but it is a rigged system

Why else would politicians DIVIDE us with petty factional infighting?
Why create polarizing social issues, (like trans kids)?
Would it allow politicians to control their whatever, narrative, and keep the American people from dealing with real issues, (such as health care)

Dangerous for Americans to unite as a force to be reckoned, with like minded ideas, in a capitalist society

It’s just that democrats are so good at losing. Even when they are on the popular side of issues, even when they have the power of the majority, even when they win the popular vote. look at New York. I hope I’m wrong.

Dems are thinking men, with lots of cautionary feelings. Repubs, are all about full blown action, without caring about any consequences.

We didn't have a red wave, Moderates and independents are against Maga.
