We need to learn to forgive most of these people, the non-violent ones. It would be easier if they denounced the idea of a violent overthrow of the government that is the process of an election in which over 16-million people participated, by a handful of people not happy with the outcome. There is still too much macho talk about "the steal," etc. And, there is no Constitutional way to "reinstate," a former president. I hope the judicial system is able to dispense a little compassion, with the punishment that is already anticipated. Someone should develop a legal path for erasing this from their records, by having them do good works. Just a thought.
