Scientists do not think they are God. Contrary to what the comics and movies you might enjoy. They're actually very boring people who lead very mundane lives that they, by their own accounts, are very exciting because they get to record and calculate data. They argue among themselves, usually respectfully with articulate precision and usually the rest concede to the one with the better argument. Not just because they like it, but because of the data and how it reflects their hypothesis(es) and they may possibly get funding to further their research.

It would be very ignorant to lump all scientists together just because meteorologists have been having issues predicting the weather when there appear to be many factors that might affect the accuracy of weather prediction. As I already pointed out, there was likely a percentage chance of snow fall. And while you might have read it to be 5 inches, that doesn't mean the 5 inch difference in the ten inches of snow you got is enough to convince most people that all of climate change is made up bullshit.

I made no claim other than it seems unreasonable to assume that five inches of extra snow is enough to prove that climate change doesn't exist. There is enough statistical data to prove it does and it's been shown to you already.
