Not butt hurt. I respect his viewpoint. I simply question his method.

Right now the NFL has no workplace rules. And they won't until they come to an agreement with the NFLPA.

The NFL has the same right to require behavior from employees as any other private organization. The NFL elaborates that it will not allow players to convey messages “which relate to political activities or causes, other non-football events, causes or campaigns, or charitable causes or campaigns.”

The NFL has the right. They don't have the obligation.

How has a peaceful protest effected you in anyway what so ever other than being butt hurt.

The protest has not Affected me in any way and I’m not “butt hurt” about it either! Last time I checked I live in The United States of America and unless something has changed I’m entitled to express my dislike of something, and at the risk of repeating myself once again... my gripe is the timing of the protest. If you do something at an event in order to catch the public eye but you do it at a time where your message can be misconstrued and taken for something else.. it will be! Could have been done better at a better time, instead it stirred up a controversy.

It like most or purposely misconstrued to deny the issue is in fact a issue.

Every anti Kap rant I’ve read since he took the first knee has been nothing but logical fallacies.

Doesn’t matter why or where he or anyone else did it. There objections are pure hypocrisy, and double standard bs.

Then yeah there are the racists hiding behind “fake” patriotism

And the "fake" patriotism began with "paid patriotism" with the Pentagon giving payola to the NFL in return for elaborate national anthem ceremonies.

I have to respectfully diasagree and thank you for having this discussion without the usual insults and mudslinging. It is appreciated.

I don’t believe people’s dislike of his actions to logical fallacies, lets just say your landscaper is upset beacuse other landscapers are stealing his business, he then takes a crap on your lawn in protest. Are you more sympathetic to his cause or are you upset because some guy just took a crap on your lawn?

I think there is some validity to his protest although most of the available data is against him there is room for improvement, but I just question his timing.

Again, His timing was perfect on national television? Where’s a better place?

Those attempting to use the excuse he’s on the job? bs he’s on the sideline and not playing.

It’s a fair comparison to expose how Tim Tebow would openly pray “on the job” and the same “cherry picking” patriots had no issues.

Tim is just like Kaepernick they both sucked at QB. If Kap was a Top flight QB he could wiz on the flag then set it ablaze on national tv and he’s gonna play.

Again I disagree, the National tv part, no problem! He could have grabbed a sideline cameraman and spoke into the lens or forced him to focus just on him and we wouldn’t be here today. The timing of doing it during the anthem is what’s allowed his message to get misconstrued. Tebow also didn’t do it during the anthem... that’s why it’s a non issue.

You know I think if he was top flight he wouldn’t have done it and actually risked his position, but because he was riding the bench he needed something to bring attention to himself. I truly believe he wasn’t purposefully trying to disrespect the flag or the anthem but it didn’t quite turn out that way.
