As a little kid I'd sit under the kitchen table. Not as bad now and actually like to watch (from a safe vantage point).

As a child, I would BRAZENLY walk outside in the middle of them! But about six years ago, I was walking about a mile from my apartment, and got caught in a SEVERE Thunderstorm with lightning bolts flashing all around me! Ever since then . . .

These 2 during a thunder storm

I've been stalked by a woman and let me tell you, it was a horror story!

Been there, 2am banging on my windows...

LOL. I would've made sure all the lights were off in my house!

I hate the flash-bang lightning that you know was just overhead.
Although, quite stupidly, a few years ago I took pictures of myself holding a golf club overhead while lightning was flashing above. Yeah, that was smart!
I’ll have to find the pic and post it :-)

I made a meme a while ago about an old joke: “What do you do if you’re on a golf course during a thunderstorm? Hold a 2 iron over your head, because even God can’t hit a 2 iron!”.
The club I was holding was a 2 iron :-)
