Well, it seemed to me that you thanked your Mama (but perhaps I am wrong). ECM is the extracellular matrix (e.g. of the brain or of other organs or of muscles), which is usually n o t plastic (that means well deformabel; this is why I pur "liquid" as a quasi-synonym in parenthesese, since most poeple understand better that a liquid is deformable) in the adult brain which is a severe problem. But there are ways to make the ECM plastic again (and sometimes a kind of "shaking" helps, and one has to be grateful to people who do that - mothers sometimes do it-, even though it might hurt quite a bit). That is what I meant, and my comment was for you.
