That sux. My closest cousin is a step, there's not a thing I wouldn't do for her or children, As far as I'm concerned, she's blood. But that's me. And I was the only grandchid till "she" showed up.
I married a "ready made" family. I adopted her daughter who already had a half dozen half siblings she has never met. We gave her two more half siblings, but she considers them her brother and sister. Does not acknowledge the others. Her oldest has one father, the other three have a different father. Think they care. They're Brothers.
Family is important, even half sibs and step sibs.
I used to think that way, but then I wrote a report on family and mentioned how my mom's youngest sister wasn't my real aunt because she was a half-sibling, and my mom yelled at me.
.lol. She older or younger? What's the story as far as did your biological parents divorce and remarry? Don't answer if you don't wish too, I'm not trying to pry, just curious! :)
Pinkie Pie will share her rubber chicken with you! :D one more thing to choke after you get done pounding that beef with Mickey! Haha! (remember: use both hands!)
No worries about prying, buddy :) my parents divorced when I was young. They had three boys; I'm the middle one. Years later my mom remarried and had a daughter with my stepdad (who I don't like). I'm separated from my older and younger brother by about 1 1/2 to 2 years, but I'm nearly twelve years older than my half sister. We aren't super close, but we do get along well.
Ok, that makes a lot more sense. I have a sister 5 years older than me, (48yrs old). Then me(43yrs old) another sister(42yrs old) and lastly a brother(41yrs old) whom I do really talk to anymore due to his 21 year heroine addiction (he's 3 years clean now) and the fact he stole $15K-$20K of tools and cash from me. But there was 3 of us right in a row! :). I can understand why you and your half sister's relationship, you were graduated and starting your life when she was 6-7 years old, something like that? But you both are still young to where in the next ten or so years you may have a family and you may become closer? Age and kids do funny things to people, mostly good, but family has become more and more important to me the older I get! Man! Pinky spanking the shit out of that chicken! Lmao! :)
I have three half brothers and one half sister, we all grew up together and always got along! But after our grandparents, and parents passed we are not as close as we were! :)
